Overview
In 1989 I had the opportunity to produce the covers for a four-issue limited series comic from First Publishing entitled Sensei. It told of the adventures of Tadashi Natori, a time-travelling martial artist who is trapped in both past and future, he must confront the injustice of the past while his actions risk altering the future.
I had fun experimenting with different media during the production of this series. This image is oil paint with highlights in oil pastel on artboard.
